With Pam Kravetz, contemporary art is not a spectator sport—it is understandable, accessible, interactive, and community oriented. Truly, she is inspired by the beauty in the chaos of the everyday. Kravetz’s artwork ranges from performance art to street art and mural installations to monumental memory quilts. An active member of Cincinnati’s arts community, she has served as the Art Director of the BLINK Parade, a co-liaison to the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) 2023 Conference, and a board member of ArtWorks, the Art Academy of Cincinnati, and the Ish Festival. The Contemporary Arts Center, the Cincinnati Art Museum, and the Weston Art Gallery have all exhibited Kravetz’s work. The recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, Kravetz—along with her alter ego Pinky Shears, the notorious mastermind of the Yarn-Bombing Collective—is always up for the next larger-than-life art bonanza!
